The Appraisal Institute, North Texas Chapter will be sponsoring the 9th Annual North Texas Realty Symposium on Friday, January 26, 2018. The program will include expert insights into the North Texas real estate market and the regional economy. Leaders in the industry will share their first-hand experiences and perspectives on many critical issues, as well as 2018 projections.
The featured speaker at the Symposium will be Harold Hunt, Ph.D., Research Economist at the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University. Dr. Hunt earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Texas A&M University. Before obtaining his Ph.D., Harold worked as a commercial real estate appraiser for McCracken and Associates in Dallas, Texas. He has also taught real estate investment analysis to undergraduate students in Mays Business School. Dr. Hunt’s research examining the impact of economic development, transportation, green building and other special topics, provides beneficial insights for both commercial and residential specialists. He also continues to build relationships with Mexican real estate professionals and has contributed to research involving the establishment of a Mexican secondary mortgage market.
The 9th Annual North Texas Realty Symposium will be held at the Crowne Plaza Dallas Hotel, 14315 Midway Road, Addison, TX, 75001. Complimentary parking will be provided. Additional details about the program will be made available as soon as they have been finalized.
